Did anyone have any trouble with Spurs Saturday night?

I know some of us have been getting dirt and crud in there and screwing them up. I think most of us taped up the hole on the cover.. seemed to work on mine..looked at it yesterday and inside was actually clean..

Still would like ot find some extras (Spurs Gears) though.

I didn't have any issues at all, but I taped up the hole too. I pulled my cover off yesterday and it was pretty clean inside too. Also, I noticed my motor didn't have a lot of dirt in it, I think keeping the track watered helped a lot.

Yeah.. The track was in good shape and being at night helped cut down on the dust etc too..
Anyone Else?

The Stock set up is 18 on the Pinion and 86 on the spur. I think by closing the "hole" in th e cover helps a ton. Alot of us when we first started running these went thru spurs pretty quickly.

That's the same size Spur gear that comes stock on the VXL Rustler. I'll check my VXL stock pinion later.

It's one heck of a truck "design-wise".  Especially when you consider that Traxxas pretty much used a good bit parts that they had just laying around to build a different truck.
