I have the retail version of this, and its what got me going full swin g into hobby grade rc. I have been debating building one like in the video over going brushless with the Jato. I cant make up my mind. I have all the plans for building it already, and it seems that the cost would be about the same.

Oh how do you like it? I remember seeing that video awhile back and then when they came out in retail I was pretty excited. I went to look at them, and it looked to be cheap compared to what I was hoping so I didn't get it.

well, the retail version is considered a toy, but it actually holds up rather well. They stopped making them in favor of a mini version, but the mini wont go on water, has wheels up front instead of skids. Its super easy to fix with packing tape, skid replacement with flexy cutting board, or soda bottle piece, and foam can be glued with standard elmers, Its loads of fun but nothing special. I got the first as a gift, then got 2 more on ebay for 25 bucks each, and gave one to my son in New Hampshire. The one in the vid I linked has true (3-D) flight where as the retail is made for kids.
