If I ever go to that track, I am going to just talk to others and try to catch on the lingo.  Roll Eyes  I'd be too afraid to get out there and race. I'd probably piss some peeps off!!!  Grin

Maybe, they'd get over it though. Cheesy Go race if you want to.

I like to go down there in the afternoons after work and just bash. Even of it's $5, it's still pretty fun and none of the pressure of the racing.

Dude! If they let me race an electric with the nitros, they would let anyone race.

I can't drive worth a crap but I still go and race and everyone is real cool.  Grin

Wow! Thanks for the possitive response.  Grin Now, how long of a drive is it from Conover/Hickory to the track?

There's the hitch....it's about 30 minutes south of Charoltte on 77. It's what, 1 1/2 hours from Hickory to to Charlotte right? So you're looking at about a 2 hour ride....

It could be worth it if you could come down and make a day of it. It's a fun track and plenty of covered pits.

Here's a map. If you can get from 321 to 5 you'll be good to go.
