Lots fo things to do here to help the ol Slasher out..At least on mine it did

1)Dial in some Negative camber to the Front Tires.. Mos tof you seen me do this Saturday.. It helped quite a bit on Turn ins, but would make it a lil looser on the exits of the turn.

2)So to offset that I dialed in a lil Negative camber to the rears as well. Not as much as the fronts, but enough to keep it from bringing the back end around so easily.

3) Remove Large Preload Spacer on the rear and replace it with one half the size.

4) Change the Shock Fluid.. It sucks like my spelling.. Anything is better than whats in it. I have not done this yet.. but Millers Rig looked like the right set up

Thats what I have found so far...Actually a few other things but Ill let you guys figure them out..  Grin

I went up to 50 we will see, Also Hobbie Stop had some unpainted bodies , bumpers, control arms, and some other spares. Grin

Here is the no sponsor #4

the thing with the bodies...only comes with the stock window masks, blacked out headlights and grill. So you not going to get rear fan, rear ladder bars and shock res. and rear lights. But it does come already cut and with body post holes.

I was doing pretty well. Fighting the urge to buy a Slash. These 2 pictures are pretty much what contributed to me "caving in" and purchsing one this morning.

Thanks Tom  Undecided

Steve-O too !!!!!!

mawhahaha your welcome...I have enjoyed the Slash more than any other non-crawler I have had. At first running it around the yard was ok but then took it to Harolds and ran with the pack...WOW what a great truck for me and my driving style(or lack there of) Tongue. I like the drifting, jumping, and bumping.

Some, or probably most of that would put you out of the spec class too though  Wink

We could talk about if we wanted to allow it for our group, but for CRC and The Grove they don't allow any part exchanges other than shock caps, turnbuckles, and servo savers.

That's amazing isn't it. I don't know anyone that has broken anything, out of maybe 16-18 Slash owners total at three tracks. A few stripped spurs and some hinge pins backing out, but not a single break. I don't want to curse it, but that's remarkable for the thrashing type of racing these trucks go through.
