With the CORRs being the spec class for off road, what about one for one road? I propose this as the chassis: http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebproductdetail.asp?catmainid=120&id=6969 at $89 any of you could purchase one of these with your slush fund cash ;-)

Tamiya mini cooper
You can add bearings
must use kit provided silver can motor
any of your electronics (we all have enough lying around use)
kit tires
Kit body
Stick pack battery
stock gearing.

Basically, the only thing you could change would be bearings We could have alot of fun bashing this around a track in the parking lot :-)

Yeah Id be in on that If you guys want to..Looks easy and simple..Cheap cost too!! We would set up a more technical course with shorter straights..

Im thinking about unloading the AXIS SST anyway..

I have never driven an onroad car but after watching you guys with yours I almost bought a TC4.  This looks like a less expensive way to try onroad racing.  I am in if you guys decide to do this.

here is something for the group to consider, do we want to limit it to the original mini, here:
http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebproductdetail.asp?catmainid=120&id=6969

Of allow the other versions like here:
http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebproductdetail.asp?catmainid=120&id=7108

and here:
http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebproductdetail.asp?catmainid=120&id=6202

The chassis are the same, with the only difference being the length and the body.

Also, box stock except bearings or TCS rules, which allow only Tamiya up grades but still requires the silver can motor to be used?
