You are reading my mind Tom. I was whole heartedly thinking about a movie thread. Even though I usually dont sit down long enough to watch one.

I almost picked up "3:10 to Yuma" the other night at Target. I definately will now.

I went to a movie theater for the first time in maybe 5 years over Christmas and saw "No Country for Old Men" with my brother. Kinda quirky, but in a good way, and very well put together. Feast for the eyes. Next theater flick for me will be "There Will be Blood". I'm really getting anxious to see it and heard Daniel Day-Lewis gives a great performance.

I've heard some cool things about "300" and picked it up on ebay last week. I know, it's an oldie now. But I've got my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the "Yuma" tip. I usually try and catch most all of the Russell Crowe movies whether they are good or bad.

Just remember when watching the 300, its a movie based on the story the guy is telling the troops, and that makes it a really good movie. Not that I get to the movies often, I would rather wait to watch in the comfort of my own home, but I did go to see " I am legend" and wish I woulda waited for video. coulda saved a couple bucks. It is a good watch, but not worth paying the extra to see on the big screen.

300 was a great movie, even though, the perspective was a little skewed as Bill refered to. I also have the documentary the History Channel put together right after the movie came out which is very interesting and a little more factual. The movie doesn't even go into the naval campain by both sides, other than the storm. Anyway, 300 is worth watching, but don't get your history lesson from it.

Next on my list is "Breach", it's out on DVD and I got it for Christmas, but finally got the chance to watch it over the weekend. GREAT movie based on the true story of the American spy, Robert Hansen. Check it out, it's definitely worth the rental price.

I'll keep ALL that in mind.

I also hear "Into the Wild" is good. Ive been looking for that on Amazon & Ebay but it has been a struggle to find it, or to find it at a good price.
