so i was down at johns hobby shop here in gastonia yesterday. while i was waiting on someone to help me there was this guys there with a jato(brand new) he was having issues getting it too run.well as i stood there i was listening to him an the guy chat about it. well the guys was going to buy a new motor for the jato cause he could get it too run at all. so me being the nosey big mouth that i am... butted in on the convo.
after listening to the guys story i found out he was the 2nd owner an only gave 75 bucks for this brand new jato 3.3 wow!!!! anyways we took it outside an i adjusted the needles etc... an bam fired right up.. that man looked like he was going to cry!!! he was so happy lol lol... anyways long story short i gave him my cell number  made a new friend. all good.
now i went back in the store an the old man in there apparently knows nothing of r/c cars. well in the process of getting my stuff he tells me they are looking for a mechanic for the hobby shop..
so i put a application in for the job.
i really dont know much about planes an  helis, but i do know r/c cars an motors fairly well. so we shall see. i think it would be an awesome job. not too mention maybe parts at a discount lol lol thats my main thing! anyways heres my jibber  jabber!!!

That's awesome Smiley  The Hobby Town on Harris is always looking for RC people because they only have one guy that knows it. I considered it part time but they weren't willing to pay enough. For RC repairs they should split the labor costs with the tech at the very least. Hobby Town charges $35/hour labor and pays the tech $7 per hour for repair work.

Having a tech in the store brings a lot more business in and you would think they would recognize the benefit, but I guess not.
