I was a bit scared to click this thread based on the title..  Shocked

Here is the 2008 rules summary, including body classifications: http://www.usrcca.com/rules2008.pdf

They have made the body rulings much clearer than previous years. The Rustler body should be fine unless you really hacked it up.

The Rustler body has a slight trim job on it but it still has alot of body left on it. Looks pretty sexy too  Kiss

Once you start crawling you'll hack the crap out of it. Your tires will be all up in that body.

Surprisingly, I rotated both axles 70 degree's and trimmed enough so they almost will never touch. It left a fair bit of the body in tact and it looks very race-E and much much much much better looking than the Betty body. Shocked All the extra body lines on the VXL Rusty lid help keep some rigidity to the whole dealeo.

I would like to see how a thicker mil Proline CrowdPleaser Rustler body would hold up. In addition to being able to custom paint the PL CP lid.

Well, you saw how much I had to cut up that Desert Rat that I used for my crawler. It took that much to keep the tires out of the body.

Well I never put 2 & 2 together is basically what I'm saying.

To me it really doesnt look like a Desert Rat any longer. That would be another reason why I missed it.
