I was getting the bug for a Crawler so I had been checking out a few rigs as of late. But the crawl at High Rock Lake today made the need so much more pronounced.
I'm pretty much ready to get my rock on so I went and bought a new AX-10 from a guy on the baylater this afternoon. Got a pretty sweet deal when all was said and done. That should help considering I'm already pushing $300-$400 more on up's that I have planned for it so far. I might have it ready a month or so.
Everybody knows what they look like, so no need for a pic I guess.

That truck hasn't been used much at all. The steering links aren't even scratched.

Truck has NEVER been run is what I was told. It has a new "intermediate/entry level racer" steering servo. I'll upgrade it with a much stronger one. Also included is a brand new Integy65T motor. Of course, I will be running my new DX 3.0 w/ SR3000 receiver. And then I will buy a new SideWinder ESC and 2 sets of crawler-style saddle battery packs.
I'm really wanting to unload the brand new Axial wheels & tires (unused). Front wheels are loaded with Airsoft bb's plus I have the new foams.
And then I will put ProLine Beadlocks with possibly Hammer Rubber on it.

For some reason, your BL motor was already mounted in the UGLY truck. For a minute I didnt think that he had shipped it. But yeah, I should have it removed by tomorrow night and you can pick it up on Thursday. 1 or 1:30pm is about perfect. |
