Another Fire!!!!

I guess this is what I get for poking fun at Tom the other day for trying to burn down MIR.

I bought his XXXT form this guy off CRC's board. I have bought from him before and  no problems.

Anyway the XXXT I bought from him had a Mamba 7700 with ESC in it. It looked good and we did not have a charged battery to test it when I picked it up. I took his word for it since I had bought form him before.

Well it has sat on a shelf for near 2 weeks. Last night I got it ready to plug up. Plugged a fresh LIPO in and pop pop pop pop!! Sparks and a small flame comes out of the ESC..

I near ruined my new LIPO trying to get it unplugged..kinda funny watching a fat boy like me scramble to put out a fire in my little building full of cars.. for those of you who have seen it. Darn things stink too.. I kept getting it confused with my farts.. :lol:

Anyway..so ill be looking for yet another brushless system

Yeah thats why I posted about it.. I thought it was funny too.. I mean that little building is nice.. its brick and 10x12 and a good place ot work on and keep my cars... but when you put a lawn mower and a 230lb fat boy in there and start a fire its gets real small real quick :lol:

Chris.. I have no clue...heck I plugged my LIPO and POP!! I sent him a PM telling him what happened..Im sure I wont hear nothing back.. go figure..

Any more of you boys coming up tomorrow night to CRC. So far Myself and Tim are going.
