Went to "The Bullhole" today.. awesome place! The water was real high of course, since it rained nonstop all night. The area is next to a dam and they had the water going all out. A lot of the crawling area had water running quickly across it, but there was still a good bit of nice real estate to play on.

I met some of the guys from www.ncrccrawlers.com - check out their forums too. I stripped a spur gear in the AX10 not long after getting there, so I hated not being able to test it more. I did get plenty of chances to test out the waterproofing on the WK though Smiley It held up fine, including more than once going totally underwater. That was a ton of fun.

Met some great people, got some videos coming up. I think at one point we have six crawlers going, including one of those 1/6 scale Nylints that was sweet.

We'll need to get a trip up there one weekend when the water backs down again. It's not a bad drive, about an hour for me. Should be that or less for the rest of you. It's pretty close to Mooresville, 21 to 150 to 801, so I think the Monroe/Indian Trail folks would have a back road to get there too.

Van Wyck, huh?

Good thing time springs forward tonight. You dont wanna get caught in Van Wyck, pronounced Van-Wack, when the sun starts going down.  Tongue

It looks like I can get the kit for about $400. Id have to get Motors. servos and esc's.

I had a real blast today crawling the AX-10 for the first time. It worked great and I can't wait to go out again. I think there's going to be some pics up soon too.  Cheesy
