The road goes on forever

Ok, guys, we're going to put a bash together for tomorrow instead of racing since the weather is so nice. We figured we've all been itching for a little outdoor freestyle, and I think I've found us a great spot. There's a giant construction site in Wesley Chapel that they finally have enough roads into for access. It's right at the south east corner of Waxhaw/Indian Trail Road and Weddington Road (NC 84). It's just east of the new Target going in, turn at the 2nd road past the Shell station. There's a center access road that runs front to back on the site where we can park to bash off road, as well as a large parking lot for anyone that wants to run road cars. There are TONS of jumps and hills that go as high as probably 30 ft. Should produce some INSANE air. Here's a map below, the site is at the "A", let me know if you have any questions. Mark and I are going to be there about 11am until....

Sweet, glad you're gonna make it Chris! There should be some crawlable surfaces out there too, seriously, this is the king daddy construction site. I really wanna check out your AX-10 too, I'm gonna start mine after the bash tomorrow. I think I have everything here now after a trip to The Grove today to put it together.

No I don't have GPS, it's NC 84 at Waxhaw/Indian Trail Road.

Well I'm out. I cant start heading that way until 1pm. I went from (3) 1:1 vehicles down to (1) 1:1. That doesnt make it very easy to get around all the time.  :x

So I'm NOT gonna be the squid that shows up 2 1/2 hours later.

I guess I can stay here and work on trucks & list some schtuff on the Bay. I'm sure there should be some carnage later in the day. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about it.

Yeah that was a blast Smiley

Great spot, good sunshine and I got to remember what nitro smells like. Video should be up in a day or two.

Yeah, I agree, that was a cool spot. We gotta try to get out there again before they start to come out of the ground with the buildings.
