Okay. Because I broke a caster block, I couldn't drive the Rustler at the indoor track today.

So I drove the Stampede instead. It actually did very well for a lifted truck.

In fact, so well, I came home, installed an aluminum bulkhead, lowered the truck about an inch and a half, gonna change bodies, changed shocks and springs,

all I can say is....

BRING IT ON.

I'm ready for ya now.

Anyone wanna buy a Rustler?

Yeah I really planned on getting a kit and putting it together, and sticking with the stock setup for awhile. That price was too good to pass up though - the whole setup for less than the Mamba system's cost.

That Carpet Knife looks killer too, I was checking it out Saturday.

Talked to Jon a bit, he said they are planning to add an indoor track soon, he is deciding on what surface now.

I looked at it this morning too.   I'm glad one of us ended up with it, it looked like a cool little car. I picked up a MM set up for my Mini-T, but have bumped into a couple of problems, nothing I can't solve, but, annoying anyway.

It may not be this weekend, unless I overnight the parts I need, but soon I'll loose the MIGHTY-T.

I couldn't resist getting some run time in, even with it dark and sub-freezing outside   I have the MM set to lowest setting and all I can say is

Sick speed, but it has a really smooth response. Probably going to need to change the tires for the slick surface, but it runs really well on asphalt. Only hit a few rocks that were big enough to disrupt it, and that was just the body hitting, so it didn't tumble.

I'm going to have to sneak out tomorrow at lunch and put up some cones in a parking lot somewhere, this is one of the most fun cars I've had so far.  Have some minor problems myself - the lipo has different balancer tap plugs than I do. I can't balance it so I'll have to settle for a less than full charge to be safe until I can get what I need.

Cajun - what issues are you having?

Also, anyone have the MM25 w/ the 6800 motor? It runs pretty hot for such a short time that I had it out, and in cold air. They do have thermal shut down protection right? That ESC looks like a circuit board wrapped in lamination plastic..

That was one of the cars that CRC had on consignment, right? I think I saw it posted on the forums.

Yeah, I saw the post about it today while I was debating on getting an 18T. I was all keyed up for some practice time at CRC and packed my stuff up and headed out.. then remembered the track is closed on Mondays

Their consignment deal is pretty good - they give full sale price in store credit or take a 10% consignment fee if you want cash. There should be some bargins on that shelf.

Well, I needed a new servo so I picked up a stock one today, not realizing Losi has some spastic setup on their servos that use 4 wires instead of 3 like the rest of the world. So, I needed another mini servo that would work with the AM radio RX (typical JR connection) I'm going to use for the time being in the Mini-T (want everything spektrum eventually). I have to switch the RX, because the Mini-T RX and ESC are made as one unit and sealed, so it won't work with the MM set up.

Anyway, long story short, I just made an order, shipped it priority mail and the stuff may actualy be here before the end of the week. If it is, I might be ready for this weekend.

BTW, my MM is the 6800. What battery/gearing are you running that it got so hot?
