I just ordered a Neu 1512/1.5/D/F for my project I have been working on. I am kinda waiting on the MMM to hit the street before I commit to a controller. I was thinking about the MGM 16018 but I hear there are some issues with those. I still need a controler, a battery pack, a new charger and maybe a ubec depending on what controller I get. I have my battery and charger picked out. I just haven't bought them yet. I can't wait to see this thing rolling.

Do yourself a favor, set it up with a 4s battery. I just did the same setup using a 5s and the choices for controllers are limited.
I'm using the 16018 controller and with the 5s, it literally is uncontrollable doing a 360 forwards or backwards just by hitting the throttle.
I'm having issues setting up the 16018 right now....as a matter of fact, I'm on the phone with Spektrum making sure I don't have some stupid setting misadjusted.
If I had to do it again, I'd go with a 4S setup leaving me a lot more controller choices.
HTH's,
Mark

These are the packs I'm looking at. http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=B2492564&pid=NPQ7162If you run a Neu 1512/1.5/D/F on a 5s pack you will smoke it. It's 3200 kv. You'd be looking at 59,200 rpm. It'd be fun while it lasted I'm sure.

But you just never know with C.C. I'm hoping it hits the market just in time for my E-Revo rebuild...

Man, I'm sorry, I thought you bought a 1515.. my bad. Mark That's ok. I got the 3200kv so I could get the most out a smaller pack. With this vehicle I don't want to have to run anything bigger than a 4s pack. Yeah, The MMM seems like it might actually hit the market this time Shocked
But you just never know with C.C. Yeah I'm kinda counting on them right now. I could get a Mamba Max and modify it a bit and it would probably hold up for a while. But that 30c Polyquest teamed up with a 3200 kv Neu could have bursts up to 200 amps. Oh boy! I can't wait.

There is a bunch of guys who are drilling a bunch of holes in the Mamba case and putting a fan on the top and bottom of them and getting along pretty good. I'm not sure I want to do all that. I'd rather have a system that is built to handle the juice.

MGM Compro has annouced that after Feb 18 thier controllers will have a software upgrade that will fix many of the problems people are reporting. Also, with this new upgrade future upgrades will be downloadable off the internet.

That will be interesting to see how that goes. I hope it goes well for MGM's sake with the MMM coming out. Of course that's only if the MMM turns out to be all it's cracked up to be.
