Just came backk from checking out that indoor mini z track in Kannapolis, High Speed Hobbies. Nice place, nice people. I was very impressed with the track, the M18 hooked up very nice on it. For a small track, there was plenty of room to run on. Got to thinking, if others are interested, maybe we could chip in as a group and get a couple of these. They are totally modular, and the soft nerf material is easy on the cars if you clip a wall or crash. It could be easily broken down and stored during the week, and layed out in a short time by a couple guys.

I'll put up $100 from the sale of my B4 if any others are interested in this.

That is what I'm going to get when I move, either in a basement or garage depending on where I move to. The track is real nice, and you can get expansions to make it wider. That setup is a bit narrow for anything larger than a scalpel or m18, I've run my 18r at High Speed Hobbies and it worked, but it was too tight for a race.

We missed out on a heck of a deal too.. Radio shack used to carry those in support of the Xmods they sold, and when they stopped, the stores were clearing them out at $50 a set. If you ever are near a Radio Shack it's worth a look to see if they still have some on hand.

I'd be willing to chip in some too, I might even go ahead and buy my set in advance to put with whatever the group gets.

Yep. I figured if we could get 2 sets to start we could put together a large enough track for the 18rs and give us plenty of options for set ups.

Found this on ebay
