Good to see we are up and running with our own place. I will try to behave on the traxxas forums so we can still use and link to it when needed. I was just ticked off that they closed our thread, regardless of reason, its how he worded it "out of hand for some time now". So what, a couple mentions of shirts, stickers, our (inevitable) web start-up, and non traxxas trucks. Everyone talks about their other vehicles they have. As linked to (in another post here) I brought it to their attention that they are not treating all members equally, but it is their site to run, be it right or wrong.

Thanks for sticking up for us over there and thanks for the compliments on our little crib here. I haven't posted on Traxxas since the closure.....:roll: I'm a little torn about the whole thing. It seems a little petty for them to worry about our little club site, but it's their sight to run, and business as another member pointed out today as he talked about selling his last Traxxas truck. I'm glad this place was as easy to put together as it was, I think the website was the final straw, it and a couple of other things have been edited out. Oh well, Savage Central said, "Sure, we'll trade links with you!", or something like that. :wink:

Cajun, you definately have the site coming together nicely. I am doing some business on the side with Tony of Tony's Screw's. I will mention to him about sponship/his logo on our site.

What have you done to pick up the other one's, sponsorship-wise? Or is it just a link to their site.

Here's my thought's on the Charlotte thread at Traxxas.

I really do not feel as though we were singled out for any reason or on purpose. As much as I feel the Traxxas mod's do kinda push members around, I feel that He123321 had every right to do what he did. And the fact that he only locked the thread for a couple of days seems pretty stand up to me. For lack of a better way to put it, I would feel the same way if someone came here and tried to do whatever they felt like doing.

I know in the past at Traxxas, you(Ice) & I have been very diligent in spotting the less than desirable's & bringing it to everyone's attention. And it did seem like we had to tip-toe are way thru it to make our point. I wish it could have be more appreciated and well-received but it is what it is.

You guys definately know I am on this (our) side of the fence. This opinion is just another way, and my way of looking at it. I really dont want to burn a bridge with Traxxas. But I'm not gonna bend over for them either.  :shock:
