Not quite done but we're getting there. Tomorrow, we'll finish the rest of the paint and see if we can have it done for Sunday.

This part needs finished painted with sand in the paint. Tomorrow we'll finish the black and the checkboard starting line and white lines around the edges.

Just ordered a 1/18 Scalpel for this. Should be a ton of fun even if its just me with the wee little car. BTW, if anyone else is interested, Stormer Hobbies has them for $99, which is around $30-40 cheaper than everyone else. It will be nice to have somewhere out of the weather to run.

This track is bigger than it looks too!

I just left Mark's shop and the finishing touches were going on the track. It's looking awesome, I'll probably be getting a Scalpel or something similar in the next few weeks myself....

Well I guess you helped me make up my mind.. I was on the fence about the Scalpel. I wanted something to run on road and was thinking of an AE 18T so I could also mess around with it in parking lots. Those Scalpels look too cool to pass up though.

Did you get any different tires or are you going to see how the included ones work?

The Scalpel's are a tight little ride. The guys at HobbyTown (Highway 51) usually race them in the store just messing around.

Sound's like there's gonna be some sort of Scalpel class  Cheesy That will be pretty sweet. There is also some where around here that race's them pretty hot & heavy from what I remember from talking to the guys at the LHS.
