Just wondering, have any of you guys/gals(if any) had a problem with LiPOs during bashing or Racing even?  I posted on RCNitrotalk about it. Getting a little bit of info but one guy, who even stated he is new to RC cars and such but not Air, said it wasn't a good idea. What's ya'lls input?

I've had no problems with it. Make sure it's secure and you have a low voltage cut off and bash away.

Do you store yours in  a fire proof container when not using them?  Shocked I just wonder, a lot of the guys on the forum were talking about the fact they do. I thought about buying a lipo sack but now I think it would be cheaper to go to Walmart and get the fire proof safes. Some of them only run $20.

I use a lipo sack and they sit on fire bricks out in the shed. I've been thinking about getting an ammo box to store the lipo sack in just for that added level of protection.

They stayed in the house in a lipo sack until I got my new shed. All my RC stuff is in the shed. I'll put it to you this way, they don't scare me enough to make me go back to NIMH.

As long as you do not over charge them there is little real danger.  Like said above use a LVC, balance them regularly, charge them in a lipo sack and have a blast.  I have taken a 30 foot cartwheel at 40 miles per hour with the battery straps broken without a problem.
