Though I am slightly bumbed at how big the price on this thing is going to be, it's still bad @$$ for sure. Found this clip on youtube on it.

That is sweet. Did you see the price tag someplace?

It was on RCNitro talks site they quoted $1000 list but $650 something will probably be its actual price. Here is the link to the site.

The price wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that you will need to buy 2 LiPO's to get that kind of performance out of it. Also, if you never gone LiPO before like myself then you need to buy a charger too.  Undecided

That seems really high since you can do a gas conversion for half that.

Very true... but have you seen a Savage with that much torq? Wow... that thing can flat get it.
Based on the forum, if you click on it, that was the quoted price. I don't know if that is fact though. I agree it is very high. Not only that the flux set up with ESC is not too expencive if I remember correctly.

Well, not a savage, but my Revo has that much torq. Believe it or not, it's pretty easy with an XL can brushless set up to get TONS-O-TORQ, you just have to play with the set up to get the heat/power ratio where it needs to be.

Yeah, I saw a Savage roller for sell on Ebay yesterday but I haven't looked back sense. The person is asking about $100 for though. Would make a great conversion project.
Have you seen any ESC/Flux motor combo's that are 2200kv any where? They seem to be relatively cheap for the 5700's. Not too sure about the one for the Savage though.

No I haven't seen one, are they even released in the 2200KV set up?

That I don't know. The HPI E-Firestorm Flux (think that's what its called) may be using something similar but I can't seem to find that set up either. Seems they only sell the Flux for touring cars and drifters separatly.

Just checked the HPI site and they are only selling the 5700kv flux. So I guess it's off limits so they can keep the sells on the new Savage Flux up, if any.

Also, just looked back on the Firestorm Flux and it uses the 5700 as well, so I really don't know for sure. I am taking one of the admins word for it in RCNitroTalk.com. He states that it is indeed a 2,200kv flux. If he's wrong then he was miss lead by the info he gathered.

*how many times will I edit this?* Roll Eyes

Yes it is a 2,200kv http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/100646/
