LOL okay guys, I really have too many hobbies. In fact, one of them happens to be ghost hunting. Well, of all the times my group of peeps at Hickory Paranormal Society go on a hunt when I can't go, they bring the Charlotte Observer. As corny as it may seem to some of you, it is actually exciting. Here is an artical that they wrote about an investigation they did last thursday.  http://www.charlotteobserver.com/524/story/273202.html
I knew I was going end up looking after the kids sense the wife was doing rehearsal for the high school she teaches.

Also, if any of you have some spots you can think of that we may be interested just email us or something here Admin@hickoryparanormalsociety.com or just check out the site at http://hickoryparanormalsociety.com/. Please be honest and not doing it for a joke though I am sure this kind of humors some of you. We take this thing serious.  Roll Eyes

P.S.: I hope this is not taken as spam.  Undecided

That's pretty interesting Bean_O. My sister likes to ghost hunt back home (south Louisiana), she saw the show "Taps" a few times and got interested in searching out the paranormal. She scares the hell out of herself occasionally. Wink

well... seen some unexplained shadows in pics. That is ones that seem to have there own mass and not contouring the walls so to speak as if coming from another object. One table over turned in one house, I wasn't there on that one. I was at a building on Lenoir Rhine College (now university) and heard a screaming sound that didn't sound like wind. Though me and another investigator are thinking it may have come from a valve in some plumbing though we couldn't recreate it.
One of the shadows they found at the Science Center in Hickory (use to be an old, old school) was in the balcony. It literally looked like someone up there moving around but no reflection of anatomy i.e. arms elbows and such. It was in a photo they took when they had a gathering this past October in hickory. I wasn't on that investigation.
I will say this, for me, and I have told others, Orbs are pretty much something I shrug off. Even if there is something potential there, it's just too common to find something that could be an orb and it turns out to be a bug or dust.

LOL most of the time I go in with an open mind but I try not to build things up too much or at all. There are some who find a gnat flying past their flash light and say "oh look, an orb" and others see a chair slide across the floor and say "meh, it's just wind or the floor is uneven".
On a side note here.
I will say this, there was a guy there that was big into demonology and he is an ordained priest/exorcist. Though some would think people like that are quacks, he went to a true ministry that partakes in exorcism and he strait up says that they do exorcisms for free. If someone charges to do one is fake, a fraud and would be endangering one who was really poss-est.
