I feel like I'm in the minority when it comes to actual "bashing".

I like to take my truck to creek beds, mud pits, rock piles, construction sites and rough trails and stuff like that. And generally beat the holy stuff out of it.

Is there anyone who is with me?

It seems like most of you guys are leaning more and more toward racing and smooth track speed runs with Jato's and touring cars and such.

Now you have this H&E thing going. If you don't see me at too many of your "events" there is a reason. Right now my main truck is not built for speed. It's a monster truck that's made for bashing. I'm building another vehicle right now but it's not finished yet. It will be more of a speed machine. But for now all I want to do is beat my Maxx.

I just got her put back together after some damage from "bashing". So I'm ready to tear the stuff out of it again if anyone is interested.

We're still bashers at heart, and have had a couple of bash sessions since you've been able to make it out. Don't worry, we're still going to beat our stuff till it hurts.  Cheesy

Hey I thought this was supposed to be PG

I agree, I'm still more of a basher, and both of my Traxxas vehicles are built that way. I got back into racing for two reasons:

1) CRC opened an indoor track less than 5 miles from where I live
2) It's winter and nasty outside

I took my Stampede out last weekend in the complex where I live, and walked behind it while running over everything I saw for nearly an hour, because I missed that pointless fun.

There has also been a lack of good bashing spots that are convenient to everyone, so it kind of evolved into a parking lot thing. I don't like to run my trucks on paved surfaces because it kills the tires, and they roll over too easy which shreds the body.

Mac-

No offence taken. We still like to bash too, like Chris said with CRC etc..it make sit a lil easier. I like having a hobby shop on the side of where you are racing/ bashing in case you break something.

H&E will also be coordinating some "bashes" as well right now the racing thing is pretty cool for us.. but to each his own too.

Come on out Sunday of you can and at least hang out it should be fun watching us bounce our stuff off of the wall down there..

Thanks

My Maxx is for bashing, but I still try to take care of it. Its currently down with a broken upper front arm and hinge pin. I don't like to abuse my stuff though. Costs to much. The racing thing is just good fun. Its fun racing wheel to wheel with friends around the track.

I'm in no way trying to knock what you guys are doing. I think it's cool.

I just don't have a vehicle to participate with.

I'm planning on taking my truck with me this weekend to a side job I have going and try to make it out behind the airport afterwards. I was spying some nice looking territory off of Dixie River road out there.

If anyone would like to try and meet up out there let me know. There's plenty of open space and rough for everyone. No pavement though I guess.  Cheesy

I gotta get out somewhere this weekend. I wish I hadn't committed to do this side job. But I guess I could use the extra money.

I'm just ready to run this thing. I'm going to take it with me this weekend and try to find a large dirt hill to launch it off of.

I also have a recording session booked for Sunday afternoon. I'm ready to blow them off too.  Cheesy
