the Summit looks like it could be a FUN trail-Basher Yeah, I think so too. I don't think it's going to keep up on the rocks with a purpose built crawler, but it should be a really cool trail truck platform. As far as the BL E-Revo, I'm worndering why not come out with it first...although, it is Traxxas. They sold a ton of brushed E-Rs, now they can sell upgrades to all of those people.

What does the price tag look like on this puppy? Though I am enjoying the Slash I really would like to get an E-Revo in the future... and one that is BL right out of the box is like icing on the cake!

btw there aren't any sites selling the e-revo BL addition, so is this more of a hop up or upgrade than a total package?

Rumor has.........2 MORE vehicles in the morning. Most are saying a "Mini-Revo" and ....................
And I believe they are going to try and run the BL E-Revo as a RTR total package. $600 maybe ?? And hopefully, CC has ALL the bugs worked out of the MMM.

Ironic that you say that about the mini Revo, I have been on the RCNitrotalke some and they were talking about this rumor as well. Most got it from Wikipedia and claim that it is most likely bogus... for me I hope not. I'd like to see Traxxas get into the 1/18 shtuff. Especially a Revo, if they can make it almost as tough as the big boy then that would be awesome sense a lot of the 1/18 scale trucks (from what I hear) break easier than the 1/10's.

I will have to say that there are a lot of Rock Crawler enthusiest on RCNT that are very disappointed in the Summit. I personaly like it, though I would probably go for the E-Revo.

I have to say I love the looks of the Summit. The b/l e-revo is not all that exciting since most people have done it already and they changed nothing else except the radio which is a nice step and threw in a system that has been nothing short of disappointing to most. I have been considering a crawler for some time after putting the hv system in the e-revo and even though it's not a full fledged crawler I'm pretty impressed by the Summit. How can you not like a revo on steroids?

they are disappointed because it is not a Rock Crawler no where did Traxxas use the work Rock Crawler in the description...and they used the work Rock sparingly ...

Man, that sucks.. first I buy a Revo and spend thousands converting it to electric.
Then they come out with the e-revo so I buy it.
Then I convert it to brushless.
Then Traxxas comes out with a BL e-revo. (it would have been so much easier to just buy it)
Now they come out with the summit. I know it won't compete against any of ya'lls purposely built rock crawlers but for an out of the box, I think it'll be cool.
As soon as I pick up my new H2, I'm getting one....
