Anyone come back to talk about their experience? Was it worth a trip and was it "FREE"?  Cheesy

I had fun hanging out with the guys, but honestly, it was a bit of a disappointment for me. Not a lot of vendors to check out, and watching the racing got boring in a hurry. It was free though.

I enjoyed catching up with Lee & Bundy. And watching the boys made it worth it.

But it's unbelievable the "lack of" vendor display area and the extent to which it was done. The paintball industry's regional events made the "R/C Worlds" look like a elementary school carnival. And probably not even that good.  Undecided

Being able to check out the talent on hand, the huge track & set-up, and the way things are done was interesting. But from a spectator/enthusiat standpoint I feel it was a flop.

It would be nice to play around and practice at The Farm. But you better bring about 10 friends to marshall for you unless you are very very good or like running around the track ALOT.

I didn't get out there this weekend. But I did race at The Grove Saturday.

Some of the Kyosho factory drivers showed up and ran the first 2 qualifiers with us.

Of course the walked the dog on us.   Tongue

I can say that I outran Ryan Lutz down the back stretch at The Grove.

He was just about to lap me coming off the last jump before the straight.

I knew he was going to blow my doors off so I just leaned on the throttle and actually widened the gap a bit and stayed in front of him untill we got to the little "S" curve at the other end of the straight.

Then of course he blew right past me in the turns.  Grin

This is now my claim to fame.  Cool
