Is it the key product taking the market in this area and should really be your main option?  I know there are a lot of well known names sold around here but it seems most LHS's are stocked in Traxxas. Must I only invest in the well known name for 1:10 scale Trucks/cars?

Well it depends on how you look at it. Really its just a personal prefernece, However as of right now, Traxxas hasd many suppliers and most of them keep thier shelves well stocked.. I personally have an issue with Traxxas, but as of right now when I look at my stock of RC vehicles guess what most of em are...

They are reliable, tough, and low cost.. hard to beat em.. With the New E Revo , Slash and Slayer out.. everyone is on that bandwagon. I heard a little birdie tell me that they have another trick up their sleeve coming soon Grin

Traxxas does seem to have the lion's share of the market at the LHSs, but like Steve said, they make a good product for the price. You can always go online and get anything you want. I went to Tower Hobbies for my Savage. I went to RCP Crawlers for my AX-10. By the time you pay shipping it's about the same as paying tax, so if your patient enough to wait for the mail dude, you can find anything you want.
